When I decided to start The Backyard Banter Podcast several months ago, I always knew my first guest would be Sigmund Bloom. After all, Bloom was, is and will always be my primary mentor in the football writing industry. He has one of the most unique voices, both in his style and the way he thinks, in our world. Here Bloom recounts the story of how he fell in love with the game, and how that path brought him to where he is in his career today.
